Having decided we needed to replace our fencing and not wanting to paint and protect every year I began looking at various options.

I am delighted with the product. It is quick and simple to put together, the composite material is easy to cut to shape and will require far less maintenance than a conventional wooden deck. It is also considerably cheaper than wood – an important consideration in today’s economic climate. As my deck was placed largely over water it was necessary to build a brick pillar and construct a wooden frame as support. The result is a “bounce free” firm surface which can be used as a seating area or be covered with pot plants.

Never a fan of traditional decking both personally and as a garden designer i rarely specify it. Having now used Saige decking in my own garden i am a convert to this product. I am thrilled with the finished result and have already specified it in 2 projects.

We first used Saige on a single development in 2017/18 and were so impressed by their products and customer service they were awarded the contract to supply all the decking to a large 49 property development in Kingston Upon Thames. The larger development consisted of 4 blocks with staggered finishing dates, a complicated order with a mix of colours and decking types. Emma and the team were thorough and incredibly supportive throughout the process and I have no doubt they will be our first call for all decking on any future developments.
