Decking Tape
The Multi-purpose Decking & Cladding Tape by Saige has been developed as a reliable and versatile solution for protecting and enhancing your outdoor spaces. Our non-butyl frame protection tape is water-tight & air-tight and designed to provide superior joist and cladding frame protection to effectively seal your timber joists and upright posts against moisture damage on your timber subframe.
Saige Decking and Cladding Tape is a highly effective adhesive tape that creates a strong, enduring bond and can be repositioned as needed. The tape is UV-stable, easy to use, and leaves no residue. Easy to tear, our tape also has no backing tape, unlike other tapes which means it can be applied straight to the joist without needing to peel off and discard the backing sheet, saving time on your installs. It can be applied to surfaces, around fasteners, or exposed timber joist ends before installing decking boards, creating a waterproof and airtight seal that helps establish a secure moisture barrier. Our tape and is available in two sizes for either single or double joists.
Dimensions:
Single Joist: Length 40m, Width 65mm
Double Joist: Length 20m, Width 130mm
Screws for Solid Boards
screws for the solid composite decking (and composite trim) are colour-matched to the board so that they integrate into the design and do not detract from the beauty.
In order to ensure a flat surface with no protrusions, our screws have countersunk heads and small heads that sit flush with the decking surface.
Saige screws are M4.5 x 65 carbon steel self-drilling screws high tensile screws which are heat treated and then de-embrittled, durable, long lasting and resistant to rust. Each box of screws will arrive with 1x star drive 50mm bit and 1x drill bit.
Saige Fixing Clips for Hollow boards
The hidden clip fixing system was created specifically for the installation of Saige hollow decking boards. The clips provide an invisible fixing method while also maintaining the 3-4mm gap between the decking boards. The aluminium clips are black powder coated to blend in with the gaps between the boards.
Because of temperature changes, hollow composite decking boards expand and contract, and the Saige clips have been specifically designed to accommodate this movement.
We have a variety of clips to connect hollow boards to one another, as well as start-up clips and clips that allow solid and hollow boards to be used together.
Saige clips are non-plastic and easy to install. For durability and strength, they are made of stainless steel and powder coated in black.
